The Desoto Rifle and Pistol Club is located 7.5 miles east of Hernando off of Holly Springs Rd.  You can obtain directions and maps by clicking here.  The shooting range consits of a 200 yd rifle range.  The club has been in existence since 1987 and is affiliated with NRA, CMP, and IDPA.

Our current membership is approximately 180 members.  The range is open March 1 through October 31 and is closed Nov. 1 through
Feb. 28.  Shooting hours are sunrise to sunset, 7 days per week. 

For those interested competitive matches are held throughout the year.  Matches for 2008 include NRA High Power, High Power Sport Rifle, Small Bore, and IDPA. Most matches are held on Saturday mornings.  Click here for more information in regards to the match schedules. 

All new members are required to attend a Range Rules and Safety Orientation prior to using the range. This is scheduled once dues are paid and membership is accepted. Once the orientation is completed, the new member will be given the gate code and will have access to the range.   For more information in regards to membership please click here.
